What are peace, joy, love, and forgiveness? What is Hope? At the end
of each section I will make an attempt at writing a poem based on peace, joy,
love, and forgiveness. What is Peace? Peace in my definition is when two
people are not arguing or disagreeing about something. Although, according
to the Merriam-Websters Dictionary there are three different definitions for
peace: (1) a state in which there is no war or fighting, (2) an agreement to
end a war and (3) a period of time when there is no war or fighting.

What is Hope? Hope is when a person learns to persevere and

also to forgive someone for something that they did to them.

Forgiveness has taught me how to have hope in the things that I do,
even in my classes that I take at school. When I knit or make
jewelry it is always so satisfying to see something, that I make at
the end that can be used over and over again.

I would like to now share a short poem that I wrote that is about
forgiveness.
Forgiveness Poem
Mommy, for all the times
you yelled at me and
hit me with a clog
I forgive you!
Mommy, for all the times
I ate dinner alone
I forgive you!
Mommy, for all the extra times
you worked and made me
feel alone at night.
I forgive you!

Forgiveness Poem
For all your meanness

And unkindness
I Forgive You!
For all your angry thoughts
For all the intense moments we had
For all the sad times
I Forgive You!
For all the bitter moments
For all the anxious thoughts
For making me feel mad and mean
I Forgive You!
