The school is committed to utilizing the maximum potential of technology to
enhance student learning and increase teacher effectiveness by providing
students with technology-related experiences.
Students will have access to the technology required to produce, manage,
communicate and recover information in an efficient way for educational
use. In the completion of both present and future goals, the school will
provide a repeatedly evolving staff development program concerned with
the integration of technology in areas of curriculum.
Concentrate on further actualizing the instructional novation vision and proposed
outline. Proceed to reinforce the innovation support for recently rented
hardware, and give the system administration instruments to oversee offer
work area some assistance with requesting, and additionally upkeep and

School of Science and technology provide following items for staff: laptop for
each teachers with Windows 7 OS, Projector for each classrooms, Aver
document camera for classrooms, Mimio Pad and clickers for math departments,
printer and snapshot scanner for departments, school provide phone for
communication with admins, Ipads for K-3 and SPED and ESL departments,
portable Chromebook total 75 on cart.
2. How are hardware and software currently being used in classrooms
at each grade level and in each content area?

SST Alamo has own server and all computer devices operating from serverwhich user blocking and internet use blocking is different for admins, staff and
students. All needed software`s installed teachers laptops and they manage the
classroom attendance, discipline, grading and etc. from database. All laptops
connected online printer and they have own print out limits Each teachers has
own online username and passwords provided from Dean of Academic for
managing online programs for improving students academics. Example of this
online softwares are, Reasoning Mind, Accelerated Reader, Accelerated Math,
Istation, Alex, Reading Eggs, Math seeds, Study Island.
For using this programs our school providing K-3 grades 5 Ipads for each grades
and 25 Chromebook with cart. 25 Chromebook with cart for 4-5 grades for using
Istation. 25 Chromebook for 7-8 grades for Alex and Istation and AR tests, Also
additional laptops with carts for Science Fair and Science Olympiad classes.
In additional our school has 15 sets of NXT and EV3 Lego set FLL competition.

Students at SST schools are able those devices and in additional we have 2 set of
desktops each class for student use.

technology?
Schools computers have the technology needed to support student research and to
promote academic success has same permission so they can able for equally and each
all school use softwares are installed all devices so, if any problem with carts or devices
they can have another carts if available and can use software which they need or which
their grade level using. Also 26 all in one desktops in the computer lab for technology
class and they are answers requirements nowadays computers. All Chromebook and
Ipads are up to date components.

flash based online program named Learning.com. It was so great for K-5 grades

teaching and learning. When designing professional development activities for
technology operation, it is critical that efforts be double: teachers need basic
technical knowledge about how to use a tool, the other should be how to
integrate the tool into their existing. In order to achieve fully change, schools
need to confirm that strong professional development programs are in place and
that teachers have a variety of opportunities for learning.
Also the presence of professional development alone will not guarantee
successful implementation. It does not important weak or poorly planned
professional development program may actually interfere with technology
integration.
2. How and when will teachers and/or librarians help students acquire Internet
safety skills?

There are some animation lessons added in Learning.com which is good for K-8
grades, and officially added 3-7 grades curriculum online safety lessons for 2-5

1. What is the administrators support for teachers to prepare
professional development?

encourage teachers use of computer technology in teaching and learning

applications. Teachers professional development is a key factor to
successful integration of computers into classroom teaching. Educators who

integrate technology with new teaching practices gained through professional


training can transform the performance of the students all those and success
comes from school administrators to provide professional development by
district or to direct them to the technology use professional development or
specific software developments which is using on their grade level at the
school.

After administrators observations teachers classes and questions from
teachers will give the admins that the teachers need to improve their
technology use skills, also assigning the assignment to the students and
checking by the administrators, will give them idea about teachers
technology skills.

Schools of Science and technology schools are the outstanding charter schools in San
Antonio area. This shows that our schools and central office working with our district
teachers regularly and if needed provided professional developments by district or direct
them to region.

There is a few online testing are providing students at SST-Alamo and results of
those tests give our school principals and front office approximately idea. Also
there is Map testing which creating answer sheets from computer and evaluate
with using technology to getting idea about students success.

resources, technical support, and asset management already in the LEA
that will be used to support the Curriculum and Professional Development
Components of the plan.
1. Is the exiting hardware, internet access good enough to working
electronic learning resources easily?
SST-Alamo provide staff and students high quality internet which is Google Fiber
equal 1,000 Mbit/s that means there is no network and online connection
problem. Our nowadays hardwares which is Ipads, Laptops, Chromebooks and

all in one desktop computers are very fast with high quality internet make
teachers and students jobs easy.
2. What technology access do parents have from home? What technologies
do parents prefer for home/school communication?

SST-Alamo provide parents from home online database. Parent can using their
password and check their childrens homeworks, grades, due date of grades,
disciplines, meal balances, can e-mail teachers from this account, and news from
schools web sites. Also we have social media accounts which is parents can
follow from there.

networking and telecommunications infrastructure, physical plant
modifications, technical support, and asset management needed by the
LEA's teachers, students, and administrators to support the activities in the
Curriculum and Professional Development components of the plan.
1. What innovation is expected to execute the Curriculum and
Professional improvement parts for understudies and staff?
SST-Alamos all classrooms covered with brand new projectors, Mimio document
cameras, sound systems, docking stations, projector screens, and portable
Chromebook, instructors laptops help teachers and students to reach the success.
And all of our technology equipments are renovated from a year ago.

SST schools planning to buy new computers for teachers if needed. Other way all
new Chromebooks and planning to add some of Chromebooks to increase count of
them for student count increased.

SST-Alamo will be utilizing the foremost and the personage of scholastics in the

information quarterly for the school. Information expert of the area will be
accountable for gathering information for the entire locale. It will be compressed
by the information expert.

Mostly SST schools published their the video during open house time and advertisement
from web pages and during application for new year a few places of the city of San
Antonio or Corpus Christi which is one high school branch located at this location.
