Dear Parents,

My name is Luisa Maria Gonzalez. I am the daughter of Miss Araceli who works for the nursery here at ABC
123 and a freshman at the University of El Paso at Texas. I write to you seeking your permission to film your
child's classroom in order to produce a short documentary film on education. I was assigned to produce such for
the course of RWS 1301, taught by Professor Justin Stone, with the purpose of presenting a problem in our
society of our choice. My chosen problem was issues in childrens education, and I would like to shoot some
scenes of your child's classroom to illustrate the positive effects that a stimulant, inspiring and happy
environment have on children. The film will be of a minute in length and will provide information and facts on
the positive outcomes that a quality early education has on individuals later in life, along with the images and
videos taken of your children. If your child is randomly chosen for a specific scene (with each scene being no
more than 10 seconds in length) your child's first name and last name initial will appear on the credits at the end
of this short film. If selected, this short film may be featured in the UTEPs writing courses First-Year
Composition Film Festival. I would very much appreciate your cooperation with your permission to produce
this film. Please submit this form with your denial or approval as soon as possible with Ms. Vogel at the front
desk. For further questions and information, feel free to contact me through e-mail
at lmgonzalez8@miners.utep.edu or by cellphone at (915)*******
Cordially,
Luisa Maria Gonzalez.
