Response to Intervention
(RTI)
RTI’s elementary principles are a

a) focus on quality school- wide instruction in order to prevent


possible challenges

(b) school wide screening and progress monitoring to identify


overall effectiveness and students who require additional support,

(c) a model with with tiers that delivers support accordingly

(d) eligibility determination consisting of identifying the required


level of individual support
