The health effects associated with air pollution
are extensive. Studies have found polluted air
increases cases of asthma, SIDS, low birth rate
syndrome, premature birth, infant mortality,
childhood cancer, genetic damage in newborns,
heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancer, sudden
death, heart attacks, stroke, and high blood
pressure (Sierra Club)
Population Growth
According to the Utah Foundation, Utah has
been one of the top ten fastest growing states
since 2008
