groundwater as water resources; and so forth. Underground
water which is above the zone of groundwater is closely related to the field of application of soil science, agriculture and civil engineering. The general flow of the fluid (water, hydrocarbons, geothermal fluids, etc.) within a geological formation associated with applications in the field of water resources; geothermal; and hydrocarbons.
Tujuan
1. A hydrogeological study of the spring belt of Gunung
Ciremai, Kuningan Regency, West Java Province, aimed to determine the recharge-discharge system, based on geological mapping and groundwater characterisation 2. Observation on 21 springs shows three spring zones, that lead to get data about recharge-discharge system using three types Chemical analysis indicates
Metode Penelitian
Using secondary data such as text book and literature from
papers
Hasil Penelitian
1. Knowing the geological feature in Gunung Ciremai
2. Knowing the hydrogeological pontetial in Gunung Ciremai and the location around 3. Getting the data that can support the statement about the condition in Gunung Ciremai
Kesimpulan Paper
Results from 21 observations have shown that spring
distribution, spring discharge and groundwater flow pattern
are controlled by three hydrogeological factors as follows : 1. distribution of lithology and morphology 2. intensity of macro fracturing 3. thickness and final infiltration rate of residual soils There are fractures on the lava flow, the fractures consist of cooling joints which form narrow openings in the rock. The pattern of the joints is unsystematic, with many orientations as follows: N630 E, N900 E, N1170 E. The orientation of the fractures controls the deviated groundwater flow pattern. Daftar Pustaka
