-Hybrid of both the historical and
the modern, in terms of material and
construction technology:
pyramid + steel and glass

-Centres its visitors to the main exhibition hall, which
enables ease of access to public amenities
-The glass pyramid above ground and the two smaller
pyramids beside act as light harvesters for the largely
underground museum

-Historical relevance
Due to the history of the battle of the pyramid,
once the Napoleon won over the Egypt, there are lots of
Egyptian decoration and monuments in the France.
There is also a large store of Ancient Egyptian artifacts
in the museum.

-Elimination of "unnecessary detail"

- Exterior design does not require decorative
ornamentation; its form is decorative in itself

-Designed to the same proportions of the famous

Pyramid of Giza. The glass pyramid provided a symbolic entry
that had historical and figural importance that reinforces
the main entry.
