6K Product Data
Chesterton 6K seals
are U-Cups for
HYDRAULIC applications,
and the answer for older
and worn equipment.
The 6K Monoseal is
molded from fabric and
either neoprene or butyl
into a reinforced seal
responsive to pressures
up to 3000 psi ( 207 bar ).
Designed for use on
older, worn equipment.
Rugged construction
is able to withstand
pressure shocks
from press bumping
and shock loading.
Available materials
are NEOPRENE,
which performs well
in water and oil,
and BUTYL, developed
to work with Phosphate
Ester fluids.

To select a 6K seal:
Choose appropriate
material, based on
chemical compatibility.
NEOPRENE performs
well in water and oil,
BUTYL is developed
to work with Phosphate
Ester fluids.
Notes:
Groove height (L )
must be a minimum
of .062 inches
(1.6 mm) greater than
the seal height (H)
6K supplied in Neoprene.
