1. Summarizing ones
educational attainment

I majored in Civil Engineering during university and later
received a masters degree in the same field, with the
specific intention of acquiring sufficient expertise to enable
me to contribute effectively to society in the future.

Immediately following four years of highly theoretical study
and intellectual rigor at National Taiwan University in
successful pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Civil
Engineering, I gained entry to the highly prestigious
doctoral program in the same field at National Cheng Kung
University.

I received my undergraduate and graduate training in
Civil Engineering at National Chiao Tung University and
National Tsing Hua University, respectively. These are
both higher institutions of learning at which many staff at
the Hsinchu Science-based Industrial Park developed
their professional skills.

While my Masters degree in Civil Engineering prepared
me for the rigorous demands of conducting original
research in this field and publication of those findings in
international journals, doctoral study in the same field
equipped me with the required knowledge skills and
professional expertise to excel in the civil engineering
profession.

Undergraduate studies exposed me to diverse
disciplines, thus allowing me to choose a career path
more objectively than if I had a bias for a particular area.

2. Describing knowledge, skills
and/or leadership qualities
gained through academic
training
()

Critical thinking skills developed during undergraduate and graduate
studies have enabled me not only to explore beyond the first
appearances of finance-related issues and delve into their
underlying implications, but also to conceptualize problems in
different ways.

In the accompanying academic transcripts, high marks in those
courses that equipped me with a solid theoretical background in
electrical engineering reflect my commitment to acquiring knowledge
and skills that will not only make me competent, but also allow me to
thrive in the workplace.

Undergraduate and graduate level courses in
civil engineering often involved term projects
that allowed me to apply theoretical concepts in
a practical context and to develop my problem-
solving skills.

My diverse academic interests reflect my ability
to see beyond the conventional limits of a
discipline and fully comprehend how the field
relates to other fields. Solid training at this
prestigious institute of higher learning equipped
me with strong analytical skills and research
fundamentals.
