Objective: I am seeking an opportunity that highlights my artistic and creative

experiences. I possess knowledge in the areas of drawing, painting, ceramics,


sculpture and costume design as well as Education techniques on how to teach art
and inspire participants. I would welcome a chance to further my teaching and
people skills and be a part of an art based field.
Education: Alma College 2013-present: Alma College, Alma, Michigan. Areas of

study include; Art Education, Secondary Education, BFA, Educational Studies Minor,
current GPA 3.559. Deans List recipient 2016.
High school 2013 Graduate Rochester High school, Rochester Michigan. GPA 3.33
Field Experience: 2011-present

2015: St. Louis High school, St Louis MI, Mr. Puffpaffs art room, TA, Lessons
taught; pottery wheel, and also was supportive resource for students needing
more direction and motivation.
2014: St. Marys Elementary school, Alma MI Art classroom, Mrs. Holms, TA
for 2nd- 5th grade levels. Lessons taught; how to draw a face, proportion
techniques, a lesson on positive and negative space, assisted students who
need more direction. Also volunteered to come in for Halloween fun and
showed the kids my homemade costume.
2013: Alma Middle School, Alma MI Art classroom, Mrs. Zakala, TA, 6th -8th
grade, Assisted students with mixing colors and brain storming ideas.
Assisted Teacher with clean up and student progress.
2013: Mural Commission, I Can learning Center, Utica MI. Heather Matson,

2011-2014: Reillys Summer Art Camp (out of home) students included ages
4-14, 8 students for a week in June. Projects included; puppets, tie die, kites,
freeze beads, pencil pouches, painted bird houses and played interactive
artistic games.
