Detailed and comprehensive review of the CONSTRUCTION

CONTRACTOR'S design.

4.1.1.2

Review of all CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR'S procedures in

accordance with the technical specification.

4.1.1.3

Construction management including review of CONSTRUCTION

Contractors' schedules, QA/QC, field inspection, and progress
reporting.

4.1.1.4

Monitoring material status, which includes material inspection,

storage-at-site auditing, and CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR'S
invoice verification.

4.1.1.5

Supervise testing, commissioning and performance evaluation.

4.1.1.6

Provide technical consultation for any problems related to system

design or equipment performance evaluation during the
i mplementation of the PROJECTS.

4.1.1.7

Provide vendor/factory monitoring, inspection, testing and witness of

tests for material and equipment procured to the PROJECT.

4.1.1.8

CONSULTANT shall evaluate any claim submitted by CONSTRUCTION

CONTRACTOR in accordance with the contract requirements.

4.1.1.9

Negotiate and resolve CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS claims.

4.1.2 CONSULTANT shall administer the CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS and ensure

that the Qurayyah Power Plant and facilities are designed, constructed, and
commissioned in accordance with the CONTRACT specification, approves
standards, established procedures and construction schedule.
4.1.3 CONSULTANT shall assume, in full or in part as expressly directed by COMPANY
REPRESENTATIVE under this CONTRACT, the duties and responsibilities of
COMPANY and/or COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE as required.
4.1.4 Working hours for CONSULTANT personnel In-Kingdom shall be implemented
as follows:
Working hours shall be according to the WORK requirements, but shall not be
less than the CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR'S WORK Schedule. This will
generally be six (6) days per week and ten (10) hours per day.
Whenever CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR's personnel are working in the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS,
CONSULTANT is required to perform the WORK as appllcable under this
CONTRACT.
4.1.5 The Eid holidays for the CONSULTANT personnel shall not be more than the
following excluding the weekends.
4.1.5.1 Three (3) days for Eid Ul-Fitr
4.1.5.2 Four (4) days for Eid Ul-Adha and
4.1.5.3 One (1) day for Saudi National day
