MISSION STATEMENT:
As an entry-level teacher, I would like to utilize the skills that I
have obtained throughout my college and working career and
translate it to the classroom. Teaching students with great
enthusiasm and passion will help build a great learning
environment and community within my social studies classroom.

Uschald Study Abroad Scholarship- Awarded to a matriculated
continuing sophomore, junior or senior level student in good academic
standing at SUNY Cortland, is participating in a study abroad program,
and participated in extracurricular activities
Gerry McDonald Award- Awarded to an athlete who exemplified
leadership, dedication, and good sportsmanship
Mary Voohees Award- Awarded to a senior who wants to pursue
politics/history at the college level
Herodotus Award- Awarded to a senior who has aspirations of being
a future educator
