Re: Video Permission Slip

In term two in our Humanities unit our year 2 students are learning about the Past in the
Present. We are investigating how games, toys, travel and communication have changed
over the past 70 years.
We have decided to create a Web Quest to help the students engage with this Humanities
topic. The Web Quest will run over a five-week period consisting of pre and post activities
revolving around the excursion to the Shipwreck Galleries.
For one of the pre activities the students will become a journalist and interview their
parents, guardians or grandparents about their chosen research topic. They are required
to film their interview on their Ipads as part of the assessment.
Also for the main post activity the teacher will be interviewing the students individually
about how they felt being in the olden days classroom. This interview will be filmed using
the Ipads for assessment purposes.
We would like to put these two videos on our Web Quest for the students to access
throughout the unit of work.
