Observe and Learn to

Comprehend

- When I first started my art was

so concentrated on contouring
and texture, not much shading
and value.
- Curiosity inspired me to do my
art it also allowed me to make
my art more interesting, as for
artist Alessandro Diddi inspired
me because his art makes
people think and it usually has
mixed meanings and different
meanings depending on who you
are.
- My intentions for my art work is
have people deeply thinking and
in a way to confuse their minds.

In my first
skills check
for self
portrait it
was all just
contour
lines with
little to no
shading. My
drawing
looked very
flat and
didnt really
pop out
much.

- I annotated most of my process

in my homework and skill
checks.
- My style grew a little when I
found the diversity of drawing
utensils.
-I can use academic language
and I do use academic language
to describe my art work.
-I have evaluated a lot of other
peoples work. Most of the time I
decipher art work thinking
outside the box.

Looking
back at my
previous
homework,
I have
would
always
annotated
and not
what I could
do better
and what I
have done
better.

In the free
draws and
days where
we did
several
types of art
work some
with pastels
and paint I
was very
creative
with them
and tried
making
them very
individual.
Alessandro
Diddi did
the same
and gave
me more
ideas, my
installation
art was
inspired by
him.
When I was
introduced
to pastels I
started liking
using color a
lot more.
Before I
Would hate to use
color but with the
use of pastels the
color would
Sort of fade
And wasnt
Of a very
dark
pigment.

- I can use different materials

and apply my art skills to these
materials.
- I used wires and plaster to
create different artwork.

-I have
made art on
computers

-Visual art has inherent

characteristics and
expressive features
-Historical and cultural
context are found in visual
art
-Art and
design have purpose and
function

Envision and Critique to

-A
personal philosophy of art
is accomplished through
use of sophisticated
language and studio art
processes
-Interpretation is a means
for understanding and

Invent and Discover to

media, and apply

appropriate and available
technology for the
expression of ideas
-Assess and produce art
with various materials and
methods
-Make
judgments from visual
messages
Relate and Connect to
Transfer:
-The work of art scholars
impacts how art is viewed
today
-Communication through
advanced visual methods
is a necessary skill in
everyday life -Art is
a lifelong endeavor

-I have evaluated/critiqued my
classmates and famous artist art
work.

- I learned a lot about famous

artist.
- I communicated with myself
rather than other people in my
art work.
- I learned about shading. I could
use shading more in my daily life
through makeup.

- Michael
Angelo and
Leonardo
DiVinci are
very
important
artist but
growing up I
was only
told the
small facts
about them
but nothing
more in
dept.

- Usually
when we
projects I
dont care
too much for
how the
audience
views or
sees my art work
