NEWS RELEASE

November 4, 2021

On 05/02/2010 at 0151 hours officers of the Bakersfield Police Department

responded to a report of gunfire and subjects down at 1123 Inyo Street. Upon
arrival officers discovered that two adult males had been shot and both victims
had already been transported to Kern Medical Center. One of the victims
suffered minor injuries; the second victim suffered major injuries and is currently
on life support.

Detectives are conducting this investigation as possibly gang related.

The names of the victims are being withheld pending notification.
