Seattle Yacht Club- Lead Instructor

Lead instructors are in charge of a class that consists of 2-30 students from 9am-4pm with all level of sailors.
Creating lesson plans that include curriculum that has been modified for each class and challenges the students yet allows them to
explore the sport of sailing.
Lead instructors are in charge of several other instructors and the overall class procedures on and off the water.
In the evenings, Adult Lessons use the same curriculum as the students but in a smaller class setting

A Nanny For U

2014-Present

As a temporary nanny I would receive a text message from my supervisor and accept a job with a family for a short amount of time. I
would record my hours and send them in via email at the end of the week.
I worked with many different families and learned different ways to work with children and parents.
I would report to the parents at the end of the day with the activities we did.

Associated Students of the University of Idaho- Senator

Dec 2012- Present

The Associated Students of the University of Idaho (ASUI) is a student government that represents the students. As an elected
senator, I helped write and pass legislation that allocates ASUI funds, state the official position of the Associated Students of the
University of Idaho on issues, and alters the structure and administration of the student government. I also have served on the ASUI
Funding Board, which allows for student organizations to request funds.

University of Idaho Childrens Center

Sept 2013- Dec 2013

At the University of Idaho Childrens Center I would spend time in both the Infant Room, 1-2 year old room and 2-3 year old room.
I had time to observe and interact with the children and develop my skills as an educator and professional.
I assisted in playing with the children, feeding and putting them to sleep, especially in the infant room.

Lewis and Clark Head Start Program

Dec 2014- May 2014

During my time at the Lewis and Clark Head Start Program I was able to assist in the classroom. During this time I was interacting
with the children inside and outside, during playtime, circle time and mealtime.
I used my skills in child development to create a lesson for the class and also wrote weekly reports on the development progress and
educational progress.

Delta Gamma Fraternity (Sorority)

Aug 2012- Present

As a member of the Delta Gamma Fraternity (sorority) I had the opportunity to run for a position within the chapter. I was elected to
be the Director of Apparel, which designs clothing for events and communicates with multiple companies to create products that
satisfies many different people. This position has taught me be patient, to work with many people to come up with ideas that all will
like and to be efficient with many forms of communication to meet deadlines.
Another position I was elected to Director of Recruitment Records. Within the position my responsibilities included keeping
paperwork on potential new members, filed all the paperwork to an online database and helped run the Recruitment process in the
fall.
