There could be other activities within the project and website, like interactive
games and videos that show the environment in the real world: YouTube videos,
meet someone or a video of a person being interviewed that explains the
environments and the environmental challenges face to face. I think this way, the
students would be able to understand the magnitude of the seriousness in how the
environment is treated and how we can take care of the environment. This way, the
students are able to also understand what the ecosystems are and how they are
interacting with each other in real life, for applicable purposes.
Maybe instead of focusing it more on the students and their assignments and
materials, I could create a website that is focused on the course as a whole, that
way it isnt just focused on the students themselves and it will be a website that can
be used to branch out to other audiences. My website content is more focused
towards those students in seventh grade, not anyone particularly older or younger:

the graphics, the information and assignments provided. I could then include
information for those of any age who wish to learn about social studies and the
world we live in today without the restrictions of reading levels, age, or particular
level of schooling.
