EXTENSION OF ADP OPT-OUT DATE

Dear Assessors:
The Monmouth County ADP Steering Committee has not met to determine the ability to opt-out
of the requirement to perform annual reassessments. Therefore, the Commissioners of the
Monmouth County Board of Taxation have extended the opt-out date to May 31st, 2016. Any
town that wishes to opt-out of the ADP requirement to perform annual reassessments is required
to pass a new resolution. The attached draft resolution is pending approval by the Steering
Committee and shall be used until an alternative document is adopted. The Commissioners of
the Monmouth County Board of Taxation have been presenting the many merits of the ADP to
towns throughout the County and they welcome the opportunity to appear before your governing
body and taxpayers, either in public or closed-session, to present the ADPs benchmark results
and its many recent program amendments based on stated concerns.

schedule the Tax Boards ADP presentation for your town.
