The cultural concern about X has typically focused on Y, but at least
one artist is bringing attention to Z through her creative work, which
may help us get beyond our current stalemate.

What will the reader take away from your analysis (beyond the art)?
It is no surprise that advertisements can serve as excellent record
keepers of our dynamic culture and societal progression
The ideal woman who is portrayed in ads and photos, actually does
not exist

Embedding Images in MLA

- 3 parts:
1. image
2. caption (w/ source info)
3. reference

- Use high-res image.

- Must embed each image youre analyzing in detail
- (may create appendix for images briey referred to)
- Image should appear near and on same page as reference (Fig. 1)
- The Caption
1. Briey identify/describe image.
2. by [artist name], from [website name/source] [date]
3. single-spaced
