different social issue or theme each month. Invites community guests encourage and informs students to
advocate for specific causes.
Executes the Dessert Hours, an educational and celebratory program that introduces students to each months
specific theme of heritage or celebratory theme month, provide desserts, trivia, and crossword puzzles that
relate to the theme.
Plans and implements the International Coffeehouses in the IDC, in collaboration with International Student &
Scholar Services and Late Night UB.
Coordinates with a team to plan large-scale campus community events, World Bazaar and ALANA Celebration of

Conspires with the Buffalo City Mission and campus community on the Turkey Express Program, which involves
more than 200 students decorating 1000 bags that hold Thanksgiving meals for families in need.

socioeconomic issues with the City Mission Turkey Express Program.
Facilitates social justice programming focusing on acknowledging privilege and oppression for freshman seminar
classes for pre-service community-based learning preparation and post-service reflections.
Accompanies students and participate in the Days of Service in the Buffalo community.
Acts as a liaison between students and non-profit organizations for students to complete community-based
learning experiences, service-learning projects, and community service projects.
Promotes community service opportunities and resources to the Club Council of the Student Government
Association by attending meetings, flyers, and using social media outlets such as Instagram and Twitter.
