Implementation Plan
Lessons:

I will use different activities to encourage all learning

styles. These activities will include small group exercises, discussion,
theatre (acting) and other hands on activities. These activities will be
beneficial to students who enjoy read alouds and reading with a
partner. I will encourage those who do not like reading with a partner
by choosing interesting genres (mystery or adventure) and encouraging
them to participate.
I will work with my mentor teacher when creating lessons. I will ask if she has
any suggestions for the lesson plan and if she has any resources. I will ask about
the students strengths and weaknesses.
I will incorporate reading materials that are interesting for the students
(mystery and adventure). I will assign reading for homework so that students will
be able to read in a quiet and comfortable environment.
I will suggest books to students to read that are interesting to them and are at
their reading level.
I will encourage students to ask questions about any readings that we do.
I will encourage students to look up new/unknown words in a dictionary.
