Cross-Cultural Solutions international internships and practicums
are for students seeking real-world international experience
in their chosen field of interest. Grounded in community service,
‘our internships and practicums provide unique and dynamic
‘opportunities to learn, explore, and address critical social issues
impacting communities around the world. CCS internships and
practicums are supported by 2 comprehensive reflective process,
relevant cultural activities, and free time for selfguided exploration,
The result is an immersive and challenging internship or practicum.During the pre-departure process, CCS staff dedicates time and expertise to ensure the best possible match
between a student's interests and community goals, and to ensure that the learning goals are attainable. The
work placement is determined after a thorough review of each student's skills, interests, and learning goals,
as well as the specific needs of the community.
Our internships and practicums leverage CCS's enduring presence in the communities where we work, Our
Country Directors, themselves service experts, ensure that participants make a difference by supporting
and contributing to sustainable strategies designed by and for the community. CCS offers the opportunity
to work side-by-side with local people to support community-led organizations, such as childcare centers,
schools, health clinics and hospitals, homes for the elderly, centers for people with disabilities, and other local
initiatives.
CCS internships and practicums are supported by a comprehensive reflective process, socio-cultural
‘contextual learning, and time for self-guided exploration. CCS staff will help to complete documentation for
earned hours or special projects.
CCS offer interns and practicum students the option of either the unique CCS Home-Base or homestays with
local families. Consult our website or speak with an expert Program Specialist to determine which option is
best for you.

in your chosen intern area. With your community mentor, you'll explore the structures
and systems surrounding the delivery of health care services, and have opportunities
to contribute to the community organization in a meaningful way. Internships include
a well-rounded reflective process, incorporating both group and individual, informal
and formal reflection,
For individuals who are currently pursuing a degree in public health.
CCS works with university public health offices to meet supervisory requirements.
Each participant is supported by a practicum supervisor, chosen specifically for their
expertise, education, and position in the community. The practicum supervisor guides
the learning process, provides professional references in the community to supportany
required research, and carefully monitors progress throughout the program, ensuring
