Reflection Paper
English 2010 me let me learned in several different ways, by participating in
conversation within the larger classroom community, and by working individually. It
is a great thing that you chose the issue and write about it throughout the course. I
really like how our instructor tries to make his students communicate together, in this
point, made me relax and to be not shy.
Peer reviewing helped me to know the mistakes and it gave me others people
perspectives, in this point; it was a good thing to make change or do the right thing of
writing. I believe it improves my own writing by receiving useful feedback from my
classmates.
In the first assignment, which is Memoir or Profile, it allowed us to explore
that issue in a personal and in narrative way. For me, I did the memoir. In addition,
my issue was about homeless people, I explored the issue, what is the homeless and
how did they become homeless? Since when? Also how long have they lived in
streets? What make them do like this. As I wrote I learned about homeless issue and I
believe it is a great point of doing the Memoir. For the first assignment, we focused
about Writing in multiple genres, Appropriately adapt style and design for a given
writing situation, Approach reading and research critically and rhetorically, choosing
appropriate research strategies for a particular writing task. Also, Cite sources
appropriately for the writing situation, including using an academic system of citation
with a high degree of proficiency.
In the last assignment, which is Position/Proposal that is a persuasive genre. I
chose the position, I have to use logical, emotional, and ethical appeals to help an
audience understand that point of view also I have to show my audience how could
we help homeless and what is the reason and why they affect the image of the
community. In addition, in this assignment I need to identify a problem related to my

larger issue that is debatable and needs a solution. A position paper will state my point
of view and argue for a specific solution. Finally, I have to cite sources appropriately
for the writing situation, including using an academic system of citation with a high
degree of proficiency.
English 2010 Portfolio is a central part of the process of successful writing. A
Final Portfolio, which I have to revise two of my three papers works and a reflective
essay. This class helped a lot and improved my writing skills, the instructor was a
sense of humor and he was teaching us perfectly, I have to be revising my writing
throughout the semester
