My Project
Re-implementing A Youth Flow Group- A project I
thought might be a good idea is to start a youth lead
bible study during the week.
We use to have a bible group called flow but diverging
schedules lead to the group being disbanded.
I would take over recruiting and advertising for the bible
study and personally meet with the potential group
members to decide what day to do it. I would learn from
my mentor what I needed to do to prepare, then maybe I
would just take over leading it (youth only bible study).
At the end I hope to have trained someone to take over
so the group continues when Im no longer a youth. This
is something that I miss a lot and if I could have a part in
bringing it back, then I would be really proud.
They need to come up with activities to get people interested in the youth group
Communication is key;
One of the main lines of communication should be with the senior pastor
Fiscal committees needs to approve the presented budget at the beginning of each fiscal year

Why study: studying and believing in the bible is acknowledging what God
has done for you and showing that you want to grow in your faith
Importance: the bible is a good outline of a moral life: trying to live as
Christ centered as possible is the best way to demonstrate your faith
Because: Gods Word is essentially to our identity as Christians, and to our
understanding of not only God, but ourselves as well
Without Gods word, we will be purposeless and disrupted from our call and
the purpose for out salvation.
For Christians, the bible is a foundation for life, and God tells us to read and
follow his word

CORE: Dig In
CORE (Connect, Own, Reveal, and Empower) is a
resource designed to help teenagers discover their true
identity, value and worth as Gods children and
empower them to reach their potential in faithfully
following Christ with others.
Dig In is a four session study for groups of all sizes that
takes teens on the journey of addressing the obstacles
theyve experienced in understanding who they are in
Christ toward connecting with God and others in new
and healthy ways.

Groove: I Am
Embracing your true identity is hard, lonely and
potentially dangerous. The idea of this study is to
help and show teens how they can find the
answers to their identity questions through Christ.
I Am will help teens but it takes compassionate and
caring adults to enforce the lessons in it for the
study to have any effect. Like most of the Groove
studies, this one is suppose to raise more questions
than it answers, but thats the point, to be able to
answer some of the questions outside of the study.

CORE: All In
CORE (Connect, Own, Reveal, and Empower)
is a resource designed to help teenagers
discover their true identity, value and worth
as Gods children and empower them to reach
their potential in faithfully following Christ
with others.
All In is like Dig In, its four weeks and expands
on the first study. The idea of this study is to
further the participants in the journey tot
discovering their CORE identity.

Product
The study I ended up picking, after much
deliberation and many talks with Diana, was
CORE: Dig In. I just felt that the study had a
lot to offer and was the most likely to lead
to the continuation of Flow Groups.

Session 2

Session 3
Connect with God
Session 4
Connect with Others
Conclusion
The point of this project was not to answer
any questions, but to try to get something
back that has been missed. My hope is that
by the end of this semester this will have
become a lasting experience for future
lessons to take hold, and up and coming
youth will take over.
