EMBrlician Aaya)‘Why have you chosen to re-release a re-mastered version of "Into The Halls of Extermination’
We'll always been proud of "Halls" and what it has done for us. 1's built us a diehard following that any band would be
‘happy with. We decided to re-master it because we felt that there was a lotof things in the mix that bad gotten buried at
the time. We also wanted to keep our first release available and give it the best sound
ible, "Halls" was a great tape
{or the time it was released, of course itis not what Sindrome is about nowadays but it is still Sindrome. I'm sure as we
develop new fans they will want (0 research our past as well. As long as we are around so should all of the music we
record.
One of the most true underground bands is definitely the Chicago based Sindrome. Already in 1987 they released their debut
demo called "Into the halls of Extermination’ which is without doubt one of the best (and first) death metal demos ever. When
Sindrome entered the Morrissound Studios in Tampa, Florida by the end of "91 to record the second demo called "Vault of
Inner Conscience? they also re-mastered their first demo and now it’s available again with a new lay-out. It’s totally
unbelievable that Sindrome is (still?) unsigned for all over these years they exist. ’Vault of the Inner Conscience’ is such a
‘great and professional tape that it would not be hard for Sindrome to get a decent deal (from a major one...2) The music is
complex and heavy. Maybe some sort of Nocturnes without keyboards and also a bit comparable to the earlier albums of
Coroner from Switzerland. So that means very fast and techni
il guitar riffs, excellent drumming and not too heavy
vocals/grunts by Sindrome main-man and almost a legend Troy Dixler.
‘There must have been some
lineup changes over all these
‘years, and mostly conceraing
fultar players, what has
appened? Since the release of
“Wills we had number of
guile plyers come through
Sindrome. It gets dificult to
find members that we feel have
the dedication, Tim sure that
here are a lot of bands that can
