Selected to be member of the Math in Common(MIC) California Initiative to
support 10 school Districts in Implementation of Common Core, funded by
Betchel Foundation, 2013-14.
Spent two weeks, June 2012, engaged in intensive study focused on using
elements of Japanese curriculum and instruction along with lesson study to
support teachers implementation of mathematical ideas embedded in the
Common Core State Standards.
Presented at the National Coalition on Community Schools pre-forum on
