The new colour coding of SOPIRA is based on the wavelength of light and its colour range:
the greater the wavelength of the coding colour, the longer the injection cannula. The special
short bevel needles for intraligamentary anesthesia are differentiated by a thin horizontal stripe
in the corresponding colour.
