Interim Elementary Guidance Counselor
Counsel students using reality-based and person-centered approaches to address functions of behavior that affect
personal-social and academic growth and success.
Collaborate with students, teachers, parents, and administration to work through reoccurring behavioral issues.
Facilitate weekly group sessions that target academic concerns and interventions, self-esteem, appropriate anger
management, and conflict resolution training.
Counsel mandated and at-risk individuals in both short-term crisis situations and on-going crisis management.

Attend college related workshops to update staff on new practices, such as CUNY, SUNY, College Board, and ACT.
