Item 1. Base System per GEW Proposal

Pretreatment Plant & Demin Water Plant as per the technical speciation and GE Water proposal
number 177637, Rev. 1 Dated June 14th, 2012.
Item 2. Instillation, Start-up & Commissioning Technical Advisory (TA) Services
2.A Start-up & Commissioning TAs, based on using (2) GE Water employees for (10) days, without T&L
expenses (based on 1,400 USD per day, (8) hours/day per TA). The same TAs will provide on-site
training

2.B On-site security for GE Water TAs, based on using third party security team for (10) days on site,
based on 6,000 USD per day

2.c security service for convoy from/to BIAP/Site , based on 6,000 USD per airport trip

GEW used 10 days as an example for the expected TA & security costs. Total needed time on-site and
security needs might be adjusted according to final agreed-on scope
Item 3. Training
3.A On-Site (2) Days Training

3.B Off-Site (5) Days Training Given rate excludes any Travel & Living Expenses (to be invoiced at
cost+15%). TBC will be responsible for providing training facility and all associated costs
Item 4. Spare Parts
4. A - Mandatory Spares per the attached MoE schedule
4. B - Recommended Spares per the attached MoE schedule
4. C - Recommended spares and materials for start-up & commissioning
4. D - Special tools and tackles

4. E - Electrical Mandatory Spares

(2) Spare Motors of Ea., (2) Spare Bearings & Connection Box for each motors as per MoE list
Item 5 - Increase Mechanical Sludge Treatment Capacity for High TSS Feed Water
5. A Optional item to increase the Mechanical Sludge Treatment capacity to treat feed water quality
of 1600 ppm TSS (This option represents twice more sludge flow rate compared to the base proposal
TSS)
5. B Increase Raw Water Clarifier Blowdown pump size to accommodate higher TSS value/ Blowdown
flow
Item 6. Add additional RO/EDI Train
Change RO/EDI redundancy level from 3X50% to 2X100%
Item 7. Alum & Hypo Bulk System
(2) Bulk Hypo Tank & Alum Dissolving tanks with mixers & associated valves per TBC request
Please note that the given price is based on Turkish made FRP tanks
Item 8. - Bulk Chemicals Transfer Pumps
8. A: Acid & Caustic Bulk Transfer Pumps with local motor starters (metallic pipes & fittings)

8. B: Add bulk chemicals area control panel to GEW scope (connected to MCP)
GEW recommends buying the Bulk Chemicals Area Remote I/O panel regardless to TBC sourcing
decision on 16-A
Item 9. Additional Operator Station with Historian SW
One additional Operator Station/Computer Server with Historian SW, Anti-Virus SW, Norton Ghost and
PC Anywhere SW. Price includes all the associated engineering for programing and software
customization
Item 10. Screw & Belt Conveyer
Screw & Belt Conveyer for evacuation of dewatered sludge from Belt Filter building
Item 11. MCC
LV MCC with 2-Incomers and 1-Bus coupler with ACB and in-built solid state relays.
Item 12. PLC & SCADA FAT
26.A Software & SCADA FAT *

Include UF Permeate Storage Tank with all associated accessories (valves & Level Instruments) in GEW
scope - FRP Tank, ~ 60 m3, Tank made in Turkey
Item 15. - Forced Draft Decarbonator Clearwell
Include FDD Clearwell/Storage Tank with all associated accessories (valves & Level Instruments) in
GEW scope - FRP Tank, ~ 30 m3, Tank made in Turkey
Item 16. Deduct Down Payment Bond from GEW Scope
Deduct to remove Down Payment Bond from GEW scope and use the contract for Payment Guaranties
Item 17. Deduct UF Membrane Tanks from GEW Scope
Deduct to replace the proposed Lined C.S. UF Membrane Tanks with under the ground concrete
tanks/pit (P.S.: GEW will provide all the associated engineering, concrete lining paint (Epoxy) and Tank
Covers with hinges)
