Main Content (45 minutes)
1) Students are to create mindmap using the online web
application Popplet on what they believe are the main
aspects to a healthy diet. Resources are provided,
including the links to important websites.
- Record one aspect of a healthy diet you found through
research and write that on Padlet.
2) Students are to critique one of the resources (poster,
video, fact sheet) provided, using a survey from survey
monkey, which will be given to them.
Conclusion (5 minutes)
Students are to email copies of their work to the teacher
for assessment. Provide a brief overview of next lesson,

Main Content (45 Minutes)


1). Students are to scan one of the QR codes that will
provide them with a topic. They are to write this on
Primary pad, which will determine their groups
(maximum of 3). Topics: Sugary Drinks, Heart Health,
Lunchbox Eating, Fruit & Veg, Sometimes Food, Dairy
in the Diet
Create a WordPress as a group
Place each of your Popplets on the Wordpress with the
person who created it underneath
2) In groups create an advertisement about your
nutritional topic. Keep it brief and inviting, feel free to
create a cartoon character or comic for it (tools for this
listed in resources). Make sure your poster has a catchy
slogan, which will carry your campaign.
Upload the poster onto your groups Wordpress
Conclusion (5 Minutes)
Students must email the URL of their Wordpress to the
teacher. Provide a brief overview of next lesson and

Main Content (45 minutes)
1) In your groups create a short video advertisement
that works in conjunction with your poster and
infographic. Use Slide.ly or Powtoon.
Upload it to your Wordpress when completed.
The teacher is to continue to offer advice and help for
this task, as the time given to learn how to use the
applications is limited.
2) Reflection: Look at every other groups WordPress
page, look at all three aspects of it. Then complete the
vote on the best poster, infographic, advertisement and
overall health campaign. (Pollmaker)
Using Surveymonkey, complete the two surveys
providing your thoughts regarding ONE other groups
Webquest and a self-reflection on you and your groups
efforts to complete your Webquest.
