Teachers, parents angry at bilingual books
VietNamNet Bridge Parents of primary school children have already bought bilingual textbooks to
for the next school year but an Education and Training Ministry official announced that the quality of

Chinese man burns Vietnamese money in Da Nang bar
Da Nang police are investigating a claim that a Chinese man burned a Vietnamese currency bill at a
bar in the central city Tuesday. A spokesperson for TV Club, who asked to remain unnamed, said the
incident occurred at around 11 p.m. when a group of Chinese guests quarreled with the waitresses.
They wanted to pay in yuan, claiming they had spent all Vietnamese money, he said. However, after

American basketball star passes hoop dreams on to street kids

Chief of General Staff visits army press agencies

Hard training despite harsh weather
PANO Despite heat waves these days, the militia and self-defense forces of Long Bien district have
been exerting efforts to fulfill all training contents. According to the Long Bien Military Command,
