The start of the Sea to Summit adventure...
In 1984 a small group of climbers from the worlds flattest continent pulled
off an audacious new route on the North Face of Everest in lightweight
style without oxygen or sherpa support. Six years later, one of those Australian climbers, Tim Macartney-Snape, decided to return to Everest after
he realized that neither he nor any other person had truly climbed the entire
8,848 meters of the mountain, as that would mean starting from sea level.
No one had yet climbed it sea to summit.
In the spring of 1990, Tim took a swim in the tepid waters of the Bay of
Bengal, then set off on foot across the Gangetic Plain toward the distant
Himalaya. Four months later, having climbed alone from Base Camp without supplementary oxygen, he again stood on the highest point on Earth;
the culmination of the Sea to Summit expedition.
Back in Perth, Western Australia, Tim joined forces with climbing friend
and design guru Roland Tyson to utilize their outdoor experience to create
truly ingenious, well-made, affordable outdoor equipment. They named
their company Sea to Summit after Tims expedition and the business
prospered.
Today the Sea to Summit brand continues to provide innovative gear to a growing band of outdoor enthusiasts worldwide. Though
the range is broad, each product is designed with performance and function in mind, from the award-winning Ultra-Sil Dry Sacks for
the ultralight backpacker to the new Big River Dry Bags for the paddling enthusiast. Getting things just right means that our product

The new eVAC Dry Sack is a slimmed down version of our award
winning eVENT Compression Dry Sack. We use waterproof, air
permeable eVENT fabric on the base for valve-free air expulsion,
allowing compact packing. Instead of straps for compression, just
roll the sack down and air is pushed out of the base. Then close the
buckle and youve just saved space and weight. These sacks are
oval-shaped, rather than round so they resist rolling when laid on
their side.

A completely new concept in compression dry bags - there is no
valve! This innovation uses air permeable eVent fabric on the base,
which allows air to be pushed out of the sack, but water cant get in.
This is a lighter, simpler and more reliable solution than a purge valve.
The body is made of a tough 70 D polyurethane-coated fabric. It has
the Hypalon roll-top closure like our Dry Sacks and a lid with 4 straps
for even compression.

Terms:
Net 30 from our invoice date for dealers with approved credit. Accounts with a consistent late pay history, may be placed on
COD or credit card status for all future orders. Past due accounts are subject to suspension of open-account status without
notice. Returned checks will incur a $20 returned-check fee.
Opening Order and Minimum Order Requirements:

Initial order to open an account must be at least $100 net. No minimum order requirement once the account is established.
Freight & Prices:
All products are sold FOB Boulder, CO and are priced in U.S. dollars. Sea to Summit USA reserves the right to make price
changes at any time without notice. (Of course, well let you know if this happens.)
Discrepancies & Chargebacks:
Sea to Summit must be notified of any shipping errors, discrepancies, and lost/missing items within 15 days of the invoice
date associated with the shipment. All losses and damages occurring in transit must be reported to the carrier at time of
delivery. Upon written notification, Sea to Summit will research errors and notify customer within 15 days of receipt of notification if a charge-back is authorized and will then issue a credit. Unauthorized deductions or charge-backs will remain open
and payable within normal payment terms and can result in credit hold status.
Warranty:
Sea to Summit, Inc guarantees its products against material and manufacturing defects for the life of the product. Our warranty does not include damage due to improper use or care, accident, or negligence. It also excludes reasonable wear and
tear, and natural material breakdown due to age, use, or environmental conditions.
Returns:
Before returning any product, call us for a Return Authorization number (RA #) at (303) 440-8977 or email
the request to: sales@seatosummit.com.
Notice: Placement of any order shall constitute acceptance of the above terms of sale.
