Welding, cuting, NDT activites, and associated operations shall feature in CONTRACTORS operational safety planing and in the safety aut schedule, ANS! 249.1 or similar codes shouldbe followed, Measures shall be taken to ensure adoquate ventilation and contol the quality of breathing air during welding operations. ‘As a minimum, radiography operations shall conform tothe lensing Raclation Regulations 1980 (SI 1999 No. 2282) and the Approved Code of Practice and Guidance - Working with lonising Radiation: lonsing Regulations 1998.
