Fight For Our Flomes
Delores Monsanto's landlord threatened to evict her, becauseof a
problem with her paperwork. She called Adriano Espaillat and the
housing movement that he started, Project Remain, for help. They
intervened with the landlord to keep Ms. Monsanto in her home.

Adriano has always fought for affordable and safe housing.

He startedProject Remain to mobilize residents, community
organizations and housesof worship to protect tenants' rights
and stop predatory behavior by landlords.

With the CUNY Law Project, Adriano launched the Community

Legal ResourceNetwork (CLRN), a pro bono legal servicesprovider
for tenants that prevented evictions, obtained repairs and improved
maintenance of our community's buildings.

As our State Senator,Adriano Espaillat will continue fighting

for homeowners and tenants like Delores.
