PROTECTING TAXPAYERS – As Wilton Supervisor, he eliminated property taxes,

and as Board of Supervisors Chairman, cut taxes 25 percent, making Saratoga
County the lowest taxed county in the state. Roy has opposed costly state tax and
fee increases that hurt upstate families and businesses.
CREATING JOBS – Roy has worked to bring projects like GlobalFoundries, TEC-SMART, G.E. Healthcare,
Target distribution center, State Farm, Ace Hardware and Ball Corp. to our communities. Thanks to Roy
thousands of good paying jobs have been created in Saratoga and Rensselaer counties.
SAFEGUARDING OUR QUALITY OF LIFE – Roy McDonald has been an advocate for families living with autism
and ensured quality services for seniors and veterans. Thanks to Roy, thousands of acres of open space and
farmland have been created, and Roy created the Wilton Wildlife Preserve and the Saratoga on the Hudson
Partnership to protect cultural resources.
