APPRAISAL
AVENDUS :
Objective: To encourage cross team efforts
To establish Normalization in working standards
To develop the overall personality of the employee
 Depends upon: How the Company has performed
How well the teams has performed
How well have you performed
The Process :
• Stage 1 Employee fills Self Appraisal Form.
The aim to find the KRAs of employee and rate these KRAs via
various parameters through a five rating scale.
• He also needs to justify his ratings with illustrations about the
same
• Stage 2 The Team Leader or the Executive Director fills the Appraisal
Form giving his ratings about the employee and illustrations about
the same.

• Stage 3 The Panel Discussion where in all the 11 Executive Directors


have a two days discussion on the employees performance.

• Ratings are awarded by the Panel followed by filtering and then


scoring. The aim is Responsibility Analysis of the Employees to
decide as to which employee will be promoted and awarded.

 The Monetary Compensation is decided by the HR Manager, Team


Managing Director and the Team Leader.

 The amount of the Benefit depends upon the Team Leader’s P&L
Account and the Company’s P&L Account.

 The process is conducted twice a year

The Process starts with briefing the employees about the


parameters and the skill sets required by them.
They are asked to rate themselves through various factors via a
four ratings scale on those parameters.
The parameters includes Customer Obsession
Network & Partnership
Presentation Skills
Team Building
 The HR Manager and the HOD also obtains a 360 appraisal from all
the concerned parties.
They then have discussions with the employee to discuss his
appraisal form and his KRAs

 The HR Manager then gives a rating from 1 to 4 to all the


employees and accordingly awarded.

 The monetary incentives also depends upon the ratings.


Ex: An employee having a rating of 3.75 or above gets full amount
of his variable component of his salary.

 The bonus is given in two parts 25% at the time of Diwali


75% at the end of March

 The employee gets a promotion if he gets a rating of 3.75 or more


four times in a row thereby increasing his responsibilities also.
