EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

To improve my skill and education knowledge of HRM I did my internship


in PTCL. And to know how I worked in PTCL office Bannu and among various types
of people have different attitude. The objective of this internship was to explore the
issue relating to HRM and to find out problems regarding the theoretical concept with
practical experience working in organization during the internship and study the
system of PTCL.
For that purpose I was assigned with the project to practically work with HR
department on PTCL. Although two months duration for studying such large
organization by no means is enough, but I have tried my level best to cover all the
areas of the Patch in my report. In this report vision and mission statement of PTCL is
described in understandable manner. In this report I have given that how different
departments of PTCL operate especially the HR Department of the organization.
History of the organization is described in the report, organizational structure of
PTCL is given in detail and mentioned that who perform what job. Regional structure
and organization structure is also mentioned with their chart. A special attention is
paid to HR department. In the last of this report a SWOT analysis of PTCL is given
which is the most important part of the report that shows what are internal strength
and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats.
Lastly my opinions and suggestion and conclusion of the full report is
given, my recommendation are the most important part of the report.
