TECHNICAL SKILLS:

* Must have at least 8 years of strong experience in ETL development using Informatica
* A minimum of two years experience with PowerCenter in version 8.1.1 or greater.
* Experience working with and able to demonstrate knowledge of complex Informatica transformations
* Proven experience working with Flat Files in Informatica
* Experience in ETL performance tuning/optimization
* Experience with migration of Informatica PowerCenter mappings
* Experience identifying, researching, and resolving ETL issues and producing root cause analysis
documentation
* Experience with the Informatica command line utilities
* Experience drafting ETL specifications
* Experience developing complex ETL mappings
* Experience with strategic error handling in ETL projects
* Experience with leveraging (and identifying) reusable components in Informatica
* Familiarity with Data Warehouse concepts
* Tune database queries and Informatica mappings to resolve performance issues.
* Strong SQL query-writing ability and superior data analysis skills
* Experience in creating requirements, analysis, design and deployment documents
* Understands requirements and work with development team to translate these requirements into system
requirement specifications.
* Strong analytical and technical skills with ability to analyze issues, assess technical risks, and
recommend practical solutions.
* Proven experience applying a strong analytical mindset and quantitative approach to business and
technical analysis delivering successful solutions to challenging problems

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for analyzing existing data feeds and source systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.
* Create documentation of data issues and develop implementation strategies for improving data quality
and data standardization.
* Turn business requirements into functional data analysis from a data perspective
* Develop systems specifications based on business rules, specifications and process flows
* Develop data flow and application diagrams and technical specifications. Determine data migration rules
* Review and manage defects and data quality issues that are uncovered during the lifecycle of the
project
