Dear ADNEP members (active and inactive),

Peace be with you!

January 21, 2011 will be the 20 t h Founding Anniversary and

Annual General Assembly of Diabetes Nurse Educators of the
country. I am hoping that all graduates and attendees of The
Diabetes Education Training Program will attend. The general
objectives of this assembly are the following:

ADNEP members (active and inactive) will be able to:

 Participate in a festive gathering among fellow diabetes
nurse educators in a historic 20th Founding Anniversary.
 Appreciate the salient history of ADNEP.
 Revisit the competency areas of diabetes education such as
but not limited to pathophysiology, pharmacologic and non-
pharmacologic management.
 Instill the spirit of humanitarian service orientation as a
diabetes nurse educator through "walk your talk".
 Exercise our right of suffrage and amend the 2011 ADNEP
By-Laws and Constitution through public referendum
among members.

Personally, I am hoping to see all of you in person and I know that

you will be able to contribute a lot to the growth of the organization
by airing your needs and wants and providing possible solution or
moves through your valuable suggestions and recommendations.

The assembly will be held in Diamond Hotel, from 7:00 am to 6:00

pm. Our registration fee of Php 1300 will cover the food and annual
membership fee. I am encouraging everyone to pre-register so that
we will have the actual count of those who are coming. Last day of
registration will be on January 17, 2011.

If you prefer to register on-site, the registration fee is Php 1800.

This event has been applied for CPE Units, so certificates will be
issued.

The formal letter of invitation and program will be sent to you soon.
If you need a letter to be addressed to your superior, please do not
hesitate to forward the his/her complete name, position and address.

Your presence on this special occasion will be highly appreciated.
