ZXDSL 831D test for VSNL

The ZTE lab is having own LAN network and 32 PC terminals are connected through
EDS-1624 D-Link switch.

Steps taken-I
1. Configured the modem with Bridged 1483+NAT mode and entered the static IP
addresses.
2. Added the static route entry in the ZXDSL 831D router.
3. Enabled the NAT function in the ZXDSL 831D router.
4. Save the configuration and rebooted the modem.
Result:
The ZXDSL 831D modem test result pass

Steps taken-II:
1. Configured the modem with Bridged 148+NAT mode and entered the static IP
address.
2. Added the static route entry
3. Disabled the NAT function and configured the DHCP server and Enable the
DHCP server.
4. Save the configuration and rebooted the modem
Result:
The ZXDSL 831D modem test result pass

How upgrade software?

1) Use web upgrade
Open the ZXDSL 831D web http://192.168.1.1/ , click “modem upgrade” page
Load a http-upload.tar file. update finished need about 2 minutes

2) Use xrecover upgrade

Open document file “ ZXDSL 831DV2.30b_A07” and run xrecover.bat
update finished need about 1 minute

Notice:Update finished ,first please reboot the ZXDSL 831D , afterward restore(default)
