Matthew 3:14 But John forbad him, saying, I have

need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

Baptism – The first act of OBEDIENCE! But one thing has to

happen FIRST. Jesus took that first step by being baptized himself
BEFORE starting His ministry!

You must be SAVED! If you are not saved your baptism is

meaningless.

Matthew 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him,

Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to
fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

4. When Jesus was baptized how do you think that He was

baptized? Was He sprinkled with water? Did He just get
his head wet?

Matthew 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized,

went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the
heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of
