Africa. The country is called "Africa in miniature" for its geological and cultural diversity. Natural features include beaches, deserts, mountains, rainforests, and savannas. The largest cities are Douala, Yaoundé, and Garoua. Cameroon is home to over 200 different linguistic groups. The country is well known for its native styles of music, particularly makossa and bikutsi, and for its successful national football team. English and French are the official languages.

This year we are going to know about the Escolapios presence
in Cameroon and be close to it. It was in 1987 when they first started their mission in Cameroon. Nowadays, they have 60 religious members. The Escolapios are going to collaborate with 10 Primary schools and their canteens which assist all the inhabitants of the cities of Bamenda, Bamendjou and Bafia. In total they are about 2,600 students. Most of the students belong to very poor families so they need our help to carry on with their studies. 1. When did the Escolapios start working in Cameroon?
