Des Moines, IA (January 14, 2011) – The Iowa Energy today announced ten games as part of the 2010-11 Iowa Energy
High School Hoops Series, including a triple-header on Saturday, February 12th.
Sioux City East and Cedar Rapids Washington will meet at 5pm on February 12th in a matchup of two teams ranked in the
4A Top 10 Poll. East is led by 7’0” Adam Woodbury and is ranked 2nd in the state.
Washington is led by guard Josh Oglesby, who has signed with the Iowa Hawkeyes for next season. Washington is
currently ranked 7th in the state.
At 3 pm that night, Valley High boys will face off with Indianola. The night cap will feature the Iowa Energy vs. the
Dakota Wizards at 7pm.
The Hoops Series, entering its 4th season, provides schools the opportunity to play in Wells Fargo Arena prior to Iowa
Energy games. Over the past three seasons, over 45 high school teams have had the opportunity to participate in the
event.

to partner with the IGHSAU and IHSAA and we look forward to another year of great basketball down at the arena,” said
Jerry Crawford, Energy Managing Owner.
