REPORT ON :

ADMINISTRATIVE POSTING IN AGE/PGE

WARD—

INTRODUCTION:
As a part of our academic requirement ,we were posted for administrative and
management posting at AGE/PGE ward located at 2nd floor of Nehru Hospital
for four days each ward respectively.

DURATION:

OBJECTIVES OF POSTING:
 To get orientation of AGE/PGE ward.
 To develop skill in ward management.
 To know the physical set up of ward.
 TO manage administrative work.
 To manage biomedical waste and infection control.

The above mentioned objectives of the posting were met. The

orientation to the ward was given by staff nurse .The staff was
cooperative and it was a good learning experience for us both in AGE
and PGE ward.
We could learn about ward set up ,routine ,record maintained ,stock
management and indent ,organization structure ,staffing pattern, leave
plan ,audit and orientation programmes, recruitment policy and
inservice education programmes.
