Once you find a HOS, I heard we are going to become ...

False Rumor

• We are "Moving to the Right" --

I We are "Movinq to the Left"-

• We can't survive the financial challenges--

• We are going to put 30 kids in a class-

• Teachers are leaving our school--

Fact

I We are an Orthodox Jewish Day School

• It is expensive to operate a campus and school our size

• All decisions are based on educating the children

- This is the foundation of the Institution

I Teachers jobs are secure

- Class sizes are being determined by Principals, Transition Team and don't have to be decided for at least 60 days

What is happening through the end of the school year?

• Rabbi Wachsman and Mrs. Shapiro are the Principals of the School

- All educational and student issues continue to be overseen by Rabbi Wachsman as the Head Principal

• Both are DEDICATED to educating your children and will do everything necessary to ensure your child's education

I Both are involved in the day to day operation of the school and all teachers continue to report directly to

each of them respectively

• Any educational issues a parent has should first be brought to the teacher and then if necessary to the Principals

Who is involved in hiring the staff for the 2011/2012 School Year

II Class sizes will be determined over the next several weeks

- This will drive staffing needs

II Recommendations will be made for next year's class sizes by working collaboratively with the Principals, Transition Team, and several outside Educators

II Teacher contracts are usually finalized in May

II 8'H we will have our HOS well before this deadline
