MATTEO LICITRA PONTI C.V.

Matteo Licitra Ponti, from Milan, bachelor in industrialization and energy


saving in the building constructions, lives and works between Milan and
the Romagna, architect, designer, farmer, artist, sculptor and painter,
performer, atonal musician who proposes pieces with strongly
emotional impact. Expert in strategic marketing, worked in planning the
district heating systems nearly all over the Italy, rewarded from Prince
Henrick of Denmark for the promotion of the Danish technology, auditor
at the AIRU (Italian District Heating Association) and member of the
Committees "Biomasses and Renovable Resources". Expert and
researcher of the work of the grandfather Gio Ponti, he organized
events, conferences and concerts inspired from his work in Sweden,
France and Italy, visiting professor in Mexico (seminar on the creativity)
and in Cuba (the interior design concept in the work of Gio Ponti). He
participates at various multimedial events as musician and as artist, at
the Venice Art Biennial, the London Art Biennial and the Liverpool Art
Biennial, in various art galleries in Italy and all over the World, from the
Prato Pecci Museum and the Museion of Bolzano, to the Botanique
Museé in Bruxelles, music and concerts with important partners from
Freddie Hubbard to John Cage, Don Buchla to Riccardo Sinigaglia,
Gabin Dabiré, Alzek Misheff and to Emanuel Pimenta. Hervé Constant
wrote about him: "... the sound breaches overbearing in our harts,
shaking the deeper parts through the appearing chaos of the score, to
the search of a new and subjective way of a sonorous communication
where, it is our same psyche to dictate the rules: a musical phantom of
light and colors that at the same time evoke the complexity and the rigor
of the poetry of Arthur Rimbaud and like the analytical piano of Milton
Babbit and the frenetic elaborated aggression of Charlemagne
Palestine... ".
