My First Animation

In this intimate 8-day workshop, Iraqi artist Sadik


Kwaish Alfraji will work with participants to create a
short hand-drawn animation. As the artist did for his 8
work The House That My Father Built, students will
work from a story of personal significance.

My Father .

In this special family-focused workshop, Sadik will
orchestrate a large collaborative collage. Children and
parents will work on several small pieces of paper,
expressing memories and impressions of family in color
and shapes. The results will be mounted together on an
oversize canvas that will be displayed in Manara.
