Employment contract

 Start Date – A mutual start date will be agreed upon between the employer and the employee.
 Base salary with yearly assessment – Starting salary and conditions to which pay raises are
awarded.
 Vacation Policy – Number of days which are awarded as vacation days. May include both
standard vacation and flexible vacation times.
 Statutory Holidays – Cool co. observes all national statutory holidays.
 Supplemental Benefit – Health and Dental coverage for you and direct family, and personal
fitness allowance
 Parental Leave – Length of unpaid time given to new parents for child rearing.
 Pension/savings plan – Will match up to 4% of base salary into a RRSP or Savings Plan.
 Sick days – A total of 14 sick days per year, paid sick time. Sick time does not roll over into the
next year.
 Work hours – Expected work hours are 8 hours per day, excluding lunch, with flexible starting
times from 7-9am
 Overtime policy – Overtime pay is at the discretion of department managers.
 Bonus Structure – Yearly Bonuses are evaluated based on Company, Group and Individual
performance.
 Termination Policy – Termination can be executed by either party with 2 weeks notice.
Severance pay will not be awarded on termination.
