I am a senior graduating from the University of Virginia in May, and I am very eager to begin a career in the Marketing industry. I hope that at Sony Entertainment, Inc., I will be able to apply the experience and skills I previously received in advertising and marketing in a small-scale environment to a larger company atmosphere through his internship opportunity. Since the beginning of my college career, I have applied myself to learn more about the marketing and advertising industries and to learn how to communicate better to a public audience. With two years of work experience at the University of Virginia Cavalier Daily newspaper as an Advertising Assistant, I became greatly familiar with managing accounts, the particular production process, and forging trusting relationships with my clients to produce the results they expected. My marketing internship at the Alumni Association provided me working knowledge of statistical analysis and market research, and especially understanding how to implement sales strategies in order to reach set goals. In addition, my work experience has required me to organize and manage m time efficiently to complete various projects promptly and to the best of my ability. Furthermore, as a history major I have had the opportunity to refine my writing and communication skills in order to effectively convey my research and thoughts, as well as think creatively and logically to solve problems.
