Helter Skelter The Charles Manson incident

Charles Manson, and his cult called The Family committed three murders. One on July 27th, one on August 9th, and one on the 10th all in the year of 1969. These murders were meant to spawn a race war between blacks and whites would be referred to as Helter Skelter The first murder was over a money dispute between the family and a family acquaintance Gary Hinman. On a wall near the murder he wrote Political Piggy. The second murder was of Sharon Tate, and four other persons in the area. On the wall, with her blood, they wrote Pig on the front door. The third murder was the slaughter of Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, at a house that the Family went to the previous year for a party. Using their blood, the killers write rise and death to pigs. They also write Helter Skelter on the refrigerator. After these horrific murders, all members of the accused were caught and sent to trial. They were charged with what is refered now to be the TateLabianca killings. Five were accused. Susan Atkins, Leslie Van Houten, Patricia Krenwinkel, Charles Manson, and Charles Watson. The lead prosecutor was District Attorney Bugliosi. All were convicted, and sentenced to death. This was later overturned because of new legislation, so they instead got life in prison, with a chance of parole. Manson has still been going to parole meetings, but has never gone through.
